Founder Sadiah Mohammed came to the U.S. as an immigrant from Trinidad who wanted to make a better life for herself. Originally destined to be an Accountant she changed course when learning about the world of logistics – specifically becoming a Licensed Customs Broker – and the opportunities it provided while also giving her the chance to work with people and help them realize their dreams.

Founded in 1996 with 2 clients who imported fresh fish – Sadiah was motivated to succeed and determined to build OceanAir Logistics into the powerhouse it is today – serving loyal clients across the globe in a multitude of mission critical sectors with one thing in common – her expertise to deliver their precious cargo.

She researched and learned how to clear and import food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, HIV blood, human organs, clothing, handicrafts, watches and a broad variety of goods. She never said no to a client. Service has always been the hallmark of her success – and many of her ‘founding’ clients are still with her today. In fact, she has become their friends – invited to their homes around the world – to eat with them, learn about their families, their culture, customs and food.
